Maryann Long has been active in the design industry for over 16 years and established
MA Plus Design in 1996.

Over the years Maryann has had the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients and has a strong foundation in designing literature and marketing collateral for many arts and educational organisations, corporate clients and individuals. Maryann maintains long term relationships with clients and enjoys the challenge of developing and growing with the company, producing quality designs that not ony meet the brief, but excel all expectations.

Maryann has also dabbled in extra-curricular activities during this time, including soft furniture design, fabric homewares (
sink) and lampshade design (seventytwo). These activities resulted in Maryann becoming a founding member of the supermarket collective, who in 2002 and 2003 opened a one week only pre-Christmas gift store where our group of designers, writers and photographers displayed and sold the wares they produce outside of their daily profession.

In recent years Maryann has focussed her skills on exhibition graphics and has produced designs for small to large scale exhibitions with key museums and galleries in Brisbane.
In many cases the success of these exhibitions has been due to long established relationships with a core group of design professionals and suppliers who are equally committed to each project produced by MA Plus Design.

Maryann is always looking for a new challenge to develop and expand her design skills and made the decision to expand the design horizon by relocating MA Plus Design from Brisbane to Melbourne in July 2010.
